Personal Travel and Agent Rates

AGENT DISCOUNTS

Please be advised, Xstream Travel will provide written documentation on behalf of an agent for only the following instances:

  • Fulfilling requirements for CLIA or IATAN (ship inspection if necessary or ACC Certification)
  • FAM Affiliation – recognizing you as an independent agent of Xstream Travel for supplier records
  • Carnival Cruise Interline rate - Please submit a support ticket to Xstream Agent Support. Include the Carnival booking number and we will email Carnival a letter verifying you are an active agent with us.

Please be aware, all requests will be at Xstream Travel’s discretion. Please allow up to 72 hours for an email confirmation and, if applicable, for the requested letter to be provided.

Many suppliers and hotels may require you to complete their travel agent education before qualifying for a reduced rate. Most hotels require an advanced reservation in order to obtain a travel agent rate. You will find this on their travel agent website. You must present a valid travel industry ID ie. IATAN ID or CLIA EMBARC ID.

Airline Tickets

Xstream Travel Independent Contractors are not eligible for reduced rates with the airlines. Most of our airline production is through suppliers, therefore we do not produce enough airline sales to qualify for travel agent benefits. We are also not an ARC agency and we cannot issue airline tickets.

BOOKING “NET” TRAVEL

Xstream Travel allows their IC’s to pay NET (provided the vendor allows it) for their own personal room, cabin, or vacation package. Only the reservation with your name on it and that you will be traveling or in the room.
